Description
I was sitting in Mexico at a yoga retreat and I was surrounded by beautiful palm trees. My late uncle, Godfather, came to mind. He always talked about deserving beautiful lives and experiences. Him and my Aunt used to instill that in us. They took us to nice places and bought us beautiful gifts. My uncle loved warm atmospheres and traveled to those places. He loved palm trees. He was drawn to the sun. He would always say “Golden Auntie Vina.” For his love of palm trees and his golden woman. Being surrounded by palms and the natural beauty and my uncle instilling teachings around taking care of myself-self love worthiness. To appreciate what I have and to ways be grateful. I wanted to incorporate coastal culture. There’s a subtle Chilkat formline weaving design adds a touch of culture.
